48 nodes have been added to the Biowulf Infiniband network, bringing the total to 112. Like the previous nodes, those added are dual-processor 2.8 GHz Opterons with 4 GB memory and a Qlogic/Pathscale InfiniPath network adapter. The per-user limit on IB nodes has been raised from 16 to 24 nodes. Applications currently available for Infiniband include charmm, NAMD and GROMACS.
