Date: 02 May 2012 08:05:14From: Helix Systems Staff (staff@HELIX.NIH.GOV)
The Matlab Distributed Computing Toolbox and Engine are now available as a trial installation on the Biowulf cluster. This toolbox/engine includes the ability to run Distributed Array jobs (many independent simultaneous calculations) and MPI (truly parallel) Matlab jobs. Matlab Distributed Computing is a trial installation on the Biowulf cluster, available until June 1, 2012. We will consider purchasing this product if there is sufficient interest from the Biowulf user community. More information and sample scripts are at: http://biowulf.nih.gov/apps/pctmatlab_biowulf.html There will be a Webex/Conference call with a 1-hr overview of the MATLAB Parallel Computing Toolbox and the MDCS. ------------------------------------------------------- Meeting information ------------------------------------------------------- Topic: Parallel Computing and MDCS Date: Thursday, May 3, 2012 Time: 2:00 pm, Eastern Daylight Time (New York, GMT-04:00) Meeting Number: 598 553 801 Meeting Password: (This meeting does not require a password.) ------------------------------------------------------- To start or join the online meeting ------------------------------------------------------- Go to https://mathworks.webex.com/mathworks/j.php?ED=191550897&UID=497213067&RT=MiMxMQ%3D%3D ------------------------------------------------------- For assistance ------------------------------------------------------- 1.
