Biowulf Cluster DOWNTIME Saturday Aug 6 (Biowulf)

For the final phase of the transition of the data center
to the Continuous Power System, ALL COMPUTE NODES in the
Biowulf Cluster will briefly be powered down.  This means
that ALL RUNNING JOBS WILL BE TERMINATED.  Queued 'swarm'
jobs will also be terminated.

Jobs will be terminated around 8 am Saturday morning. 
We hope to have batch resume running jobs on some nodes
by noon.  Email will be sent to Biowulf users when all
nodes are back on-line.

We expect to have the Biowulf login node and all storage
systems (/home, /data) available during this time.  You
may also submit jobs (although they will not run until
batch scheduling is resumed).

We apologize for the interruptions of the past few weeks, 
but this should be the last one and the new power system
will allow for the continued growth of the cluster as 
well as higher reliability in the face of power grid
fluctuations.
