Helix Moving to New Hardware (Helix)

The Helix group is pleased to announce that helix.nih.gov will be moving to
new hardware.  The new system will greatly expand computational capacity to
64 processors (128 threads) and over 1 terabyte of main memory.  During the
move, helix.nih.gov services, including mail, will be unavailable.   The
upgrade will start on August 3rd at 6PM EST with a return to service planned
before midnight.  This upgrade will not interrupt or affect the Biowulf
cluster, Helixweb or Helixdrive.
