filesystem problems on Biowulf cluster (Biowulf)

One of the storage systems on the Biowulf cluster 
experienced problems between 12:45 and 1:15 this
afternoon with the result that batch jobs attempting
to access the storage system died with a
"Stale NFS file handle" error.  Access to the storage 
has been restored and the Biowulf staff is looking 
into the cause of the failure.

Since not all jobs were affected you should check the
status of your jobs and resubmit if necessary.  If you 
wish to have a list of likely affected jobs, please send 
mail to staff@biowulf.nih.gov.
