Helix, Biowulf and all services are now available (Helix)

The scheduled maintenance on the Helix Systems has been completed. Helix, Biowulf and all services including Sciware, Mascot, ExPlain, BKL and Helix web applications are now available to users. Please let us know of any problems by sending email to staff@helix.nih.gov or calling the NIH Helpdesk at (301) 496-4357. >Date: 07 August 2009 16:08:37 >From: Helix Systems Staff (staff@HELIX.NIH.GOV) >Subject: Extended Helix Systems Downtime August 28-30, 2009 > >Both Helix and the Biowulf cluster will be unavailable to users starting on Friday August 28 at 6 pm until approximately 12 noon on Sunday August 30 in order for major maintenance to be performed, including a reconfiguration of the storage systems. > >There will be access to Helix email via POP and IMAP clients, but you will NOT be able to access your Helix email via SquirrelMail or pine during the downtime. All other Helix services, including Sciware, Mascot, ExPlain, BKL, and Helix web applications, will be unavailable to Helix users during the downtime. > >We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
