REMINDER: Extended Helix Systems Downtime August 28-30, 2009 (Helix)

Both Helix and the Biowulf cluster will be unavailable to users starting on Friday August 28 at 6 pm until approximately 12 noon on Sunday August 30 in order for major maintenance to be performed, including a reconfiguration of the storage systems.

There will be access to Helix email via POP and IMAP clients, but you will NOT be able to access your Helix email via SquirrelMail or pine during the downtime. All other Helix services, including Sciware, Mascot, ExPlain, BKL, and Helix web applications, will be unavailable to Helix users during the downtime.
