Distributed Matlab class on July 24 (Biowulf)

Matlab's Distributed Computing Toolbox allows users to distribute calculations across multiple processors for increased performance and throughput. A trial installation of this toolbox is currently available on the Biowulf cluster. More information at http://biowulf.nih.gov/apps/matlabdce.html A hands-on class on Matlab DCT, taught by Mathworks Inc., will be taught at CIT on July 24. This class will include an overview of DCT, examples of application types that benefit from this toolbox, and walkthroughs of typical jobs. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own code for consultation with the instructors.
