PuTTY: setting the path on Windows XP

Right click on the My Computer icon and click Properties, then open the Advanced tab.

Click the Environment Variables button

Environment Variables button

Highlight the Path variable and click the Edit button for User variables

Edit Path variable

Enter the new path (in this case C:\Program Files\PuTTY)

Enter new path

Click OK.

click OK
